For the seventh consecutive year, Inc. 5000 recognized Very among the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. with the rank of 2500.

Inc.’s list provides a look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Very joins the ranks of Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, and Patagonia as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

The Inc. 5000 class of 2023 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. In all, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added 1,187,266 jobs to the economy over the past three years. Company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, location, and other criteria provide additional insights.

Running a business has only gotten harder since the end of the pandemic,”

Scott Omelianuk
Inc. editor-in-chief

Omelianuk added “To make the Inc. 5000—with the fast growth that requires—is truly an accomplishment. Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that are building our future.”

Rooted in a commitment to innovation and impact, Very is an end-to-end IoT development company that believes in driving success for its clients by helping them uncover and solve their most complex challenges.

Ryan Prosser
CEO at Very

“At Very, our goal is to be the world’s best commercial IoT product development firm.  We believe that every product we develop holds the potential to transform an industry and give our clients an edge”

Prosser also shares, “Being included on the Inc. 5000 list for the 7th year in a row speaks to our collective commitment to that goal.”

Inc. ranked companies on the 2023 list by assessing the percentage growth in revenue from 2019 to 2022. To qualify, businesses had to be founded and generating revenue as of March 31, 2019. Additionally, they needed to be privately held, for-profit entities based in the U.S., and operate independently – distinct from subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2022. Notably, a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2019 and a minimum of $2 million in 2022 were prerequisites for consideration.
