Before joining Very, Terra served as a Placement Coordinator at Helping Hands for Seniors, where she collaborated closely with family and care management staff. In this role, she played a vital part in assisting patients in arranging long-term care placement. Terra conducted assessments of patient needs to accurately determine the appropriate level of care and facility type. Her experience in understanding individual needs and coordinating care aligns seamlessly with her role as an ESL instructor, where she brings a compassionate and tailored approach to language learning.
Terra holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Portland State University.
Beyond her work, Terra loves to cook, and she can spend hours flipping through cookbooks, gaining inspiration for sneaky ways to encourage her daughter to try new foods. Additionally, you’ll find her at live music events, reveling in the energy and connection that live performances bring. Her favorite adventures are her memories made as a Mom, and she cherishes those moments of pure, unfiltered silliness with her daughter beyond any of the other stuff.
