Episode 68 – The Intersection of IoT and Manufacturing: Insights from FABTECH 2023

In the 68th episode of IoT Podcast: Over the Air, Ryan Prosser, CEO of Very, and co-host Ben Wald, Founder of Very, visit FABTECH 2023, interviewing various executives about their IoT journeys and experiences in the manufacturing industry.

They have internet-enabled their equipment to provide process analytics to their customers. They are at FABTECH to showcase their new product, CenterPoint, which uses IoT and predictive analytics to reduce downtime and improve throughput. 

Jim Fields from Techni Waterjet is the next interview. Techni Waterjet specializes in integrating modern technology into its systems. They are at FABTECH to showcase their servo pump technology and their new app, Tech Connect, which allows customers to monitor and track their machines remotely.

The last guest is Chris Jarred from Remote 360. Remote 360 is a web-based application for monitoring and tracking laser and EDM equipment. They are at FABTECH to showcase their new products and services, including their app that allows customers to access machine information from anywhere in the world.

The conversations highlight the challenges and advancements in IoT technology in the manufacturing industry, as well as the benefits it brings to companies in terms of efficiency, productivity, and predictive maintenance.
